Stevens-The Cyclery men tackle midweek crits at BC Superweek

Three Stevens-The Cyclery men — Ben Andrew, Conor O’Brien and Braydon Bourne — and guest rider Stephen Rockwood from Newfoundland are at BC Superweek. After a tough first weekend they tackled the midweek crits. Braydon Bourne reports.

UBC Grand Prix, The Gastown Grand Prix and the Giro di Burnaby made up the fast and furious block of crits at BC Superweek the past few days. All three courses were very technical, and suited riders with a quick acceleration. With attendance from professional American and German criterium specialists, the guys spend their evenings in the pack, dodging countless crashes and enjoying the large crowds. BC Superweek continues to be a valuable learning experience for the developing young guys as they continue to gather knowledge and expertise at a higher level of competition.
