Stevens riders dominated the Ride With Rendall race weekend in Ottawa over the weekend, picking up three victories on each day.

In the Hammer event on Saturday, Natasha Elliott of The Cyclery repeated her 2011 victory in a close-fought race ahead of Evelyne Blouin (Ride With Rendall), while fellow Stevens rider Melissa Bunn rounded out the podium.

Derrick St. John, riding for Stevens Racing p/b The Cyclery, dominated the elite men’s field, leading from the opening lap to beat Osmond Bakker (Octo-Cervelo) by a substantial margin. Meanwhile, Steve Proulx (Stevens Racing) easily won the Masters 1 category.

In Sunday’s Anvil event, on a rain-slickened course, Elliott and St. John again won their respective events while Kris Westwood (The Cyclery) took his turn atop the Masters 1 podium.

Both Elliott and St. John are heading out west next week to compete at the Canadian championships in Surrey, B.C., on Nov. 17.
